Why every need counts
From conflict to connection
Avoiding conflict means surrendering control of the outcome
This is one of the guiding principles in mediation and conflict resolution. Because inaction leads to external determination: Waiting it out or avoiding conflict means leaving the decision to third parties such as courts, superiors or simply to fate.
Actively shaping, on the other hand, means to acknowledge the conflict, picking up the reins and cocreating mutually acceptable solutions.
I work with individuals, teams and value-lead organisations wishing to resolve conflicts actively and amicably. Parties that are interested in finding fair, extra-judicial and cocreated solutions.

Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary, structured process for resolving conflicts between at least two parties. As an unbiased mediator, I help all parties understand each other’s underlying interests and support them in developing sustainable solutions together.
Held in a safe and confidential environment, mediation creates the clarity needed to address underlying conflicts openly and honestly
Mediation is the right choice if:
- Conflicts inhibit or threaten to escalate
-
Your own attempts at resolution do not resolve the issue
-
You want to safeguard and restore the relationship
Conflict coaching for individuals
Some conflicts don’t require formal mediation yet, but are still too heavy to carry alone.
Conflict coaching teaches you to understand your own role within the conflict. It helps detect habitual reaction patterns and find a new way to handle conflicts.
Just as in classic mediation, the aim is to preserve and strengthen relationships and in doing so, to learn to handle future conflict in a more reflective manner.

The 5 Phases of Mediation
Step by step towards a constructive esolution
1. Defining the remit
In an initial conversation, we will clarify the structure, aims and rules together. We will record these foundations of your co-operation in an agreement.
2. Collecting themes
All involved describe the issue from their point of view. I listen, ask questions to dig deeper and ensure that all voices are heard.
3. Analysing interests
Together, we will examine the conflict’s context: What interests and needs are really at its core? This is often where the first shift in perspectives happens.
4. Gathering solutions
We collate potential options and assess them thoroughly. I invite you to think openly and make way for new thoughts.
5. Reaching an agreement
If a consensus is achieved, we will write an agreement, so that it is clear, binding and viable for everyone.

ALEXANDRA HÜTHER
Why partner with me for conflict resolution?
It takes courage and trust to actively address a conflict. Ignoring it, on the other hand, damages relationships and can quickly become very costly. Having spent many years in senior management, I have witnessed countless conflicts—and I have seen firsthand what happens when nothing is done. As a mediator and coach, I am deeply familiar with both sides of the equation: the rational facts, and the unspoken, deeply rooted needs of everyone involved.
Developing clear, sustainable solutions while remaining empathetic is not a contradiction. On the contrary: an agreement is only truly viable when all parties feel heard and understood. It isn’t always about agreeing, but about acknowledging each other's perspectives.
Whether it’s unspoken resentment, anger, or the genuine desire for a fresh start: everything that surfaces during a conflict has its rightful place in mediation.
I offer a safe, unbiased space and guide you through the process, empowering you to create your own lasting solutions together.

Arrange a complimentary call
In an initial, no-obligation call of around 20 minutes, we’ll look at what themes you want to explore, how many parties are potentially involved and whether we’re a good fit.
As the mediation process depends on the complexity of the conflict and parties involved, the number of sessions will be discussed in the initial consultation.
Sessions will be held online or in person depending on the number of attendees.
